Isabelle

I am Isabelle Rose, born in 1986, from London with a somewhat geeky passion for all things dog. 

Established in 2016 and born from my beloved Twilight Bark Idea, our aim is to build a strong clientele and personally get to know each and every one of our customers.

Based now in Brighton, I have a lifetime experience with dogs and other domesticated animals. I grew up with a pack of dogs and walked up to 10 at a time. now days due to law I walk a maximum of 6 at a time.

My last doggy day job was in a posh dog day-care centre in White City, London and I quickly became the manager of the salon and learnt the tools of the trade.  Whilst I enjoyed these jobs I found it harder and harder to cater for my Samoyed who is 23KG and extremely fluffy. So I set up Twilight Bark (click the words) with the aim of being totally exclusive and favoring large breed dogs.

NO LIMITATIONS!

Fast forward several years of fate deciding that then was not the time. I have now got this awesome opportunity to start again!

I have a diploma level 2 in animal care, a pet grooming qualification, a NVQ level 2 in health and social care, first aid and fire marshal certificates for people and pets and excellent references. I have volunteered at a dog day-care and some rescue centres including the R.S.P.C.A in Brighton and Gibraltar.

Tomi also has the facility to home groom if we are booked out at the salon. And as a plus he drives! *swoon*

Davey

Davey is my 11 year old Samoyed.

He is neutered and AMAZING with

dogs he has not met before.

He often visits day cares and

grooming spas and he may be

there to greet you at the door!

He looks after any dog when left alone with them. He adores little dogs! He has never been aggressive to a dog and his role is to provide an extra fluffy pillow for anyone who wants a cuddle!

Mr. Soft

I am very pleased to announce our second manager Mr Soft. A very formal serious, no nonsense cloud. His hair boasts 20" - yes inches!

He loves sitting on the sidelines supervising and isn't afraid to voice his opinion! He is 8 and he came to us in may 2022

Neither Samoyed will be out when you have your appointment they will be sent to their office at the back.  

Behind the scenes

We are very lucky to have people behind the scenes  who have helped make this possible. There was  much research to be done, language to translate, Signs to write, tables to paint, dogs and cats to hold,  people of importance to be contacted and bribery snacks to be acquired for the models! So a massive thanks to you all!

My dog is too nervous and had a bad experience before, how will you be different?

First we understand completely what it is like to have a nervous pup come and see us. We never force our hand, everything is 1-2-1, we offer restraint and fear free sessions. we even offer you to stay for the process if you think it will help. We listen to you and to your dog.

What does Layat' mean? 

It means, to bark in Russian!

Drop in?

Sometimes you are welcome to drop in for small things such as nails, training advice or a chat! keep a eye on our instagram to keep abreast of these days. @twilightlayat

Will your dogs be there? my dog cant even be in the same room as another dog! 

On request, no. Please let us know in advance and the managers will work from home on the day of your appointment.
