By booking your appointment you agree to the below terms and conditions.
Pet Grooming
Missed appointments: It is the clients (the person booking the appointment) responsibility to ensure the date and time of the appointment is satisfactory for them and at a convenient time.
All appointments can be changed free of charge with exception if the appointment is due within 24 hours. This is chargeable at 50% of the cost of the total.
For example you have an appointment for 12 hours time at £50 and you cancel or no show, a charge of £25 is expected. Failure to do this will result in us being unable to welcome you back to our services with regret.

Personel:
The groomer you agreed to be served by may change at short notice if for any reason Which is unavoidable. All our groomers are DBS checked and references obtained. If you are unhappy with this you may cancel free of charge and rebook
Grooming process:
If your pet's coat has knots or matts these will be cut out if the brushing becomes too painful for the pet.
This is in accordance with the animal welfare 5 freedoms act 1979.
We always strive to blend the coat in or advise a clean shave if its in the benefit of the pet.
We offer a length guarantee service where if you are unsatisfied with the trim you can return free of charge within 7 days to have it altered. This includes if anything has been forgot to be mentioned.
Please be on time when you are called to pick up your pet as prolonged waiting after the appointment can cause stress for them and delays for us as we are a one client at a time business. anything longer than 30 minutes after finish time may be chargeable at 2 pounds a minute.
Emergencies:
In event of emergency the pet will be carried where possible to a safe place and order of contact will be vet first if necessary then the client. If the client is unobtainable, 3 further attempts will be made, messages left and the vet will proceed with the interest of the pet.
If your pet has any undisclosed illnesses Twilight Layat' will not be held liable for treatment. for example lumps or pre agitated wounds.
Accidents seldom happen but if they do we take financial responsibility up to the first vet visit if the vet explicitly confirms in writing that the condition presented is a result of grooming and not revealed because of the grooming. The exception is if a emergency vet is contacted out of hours for a small issue that could have waited until your regular vet can see you. we would need writing or a phone call from the vet that a emergency appointment was required.
GDPR/DPA
All details asked of the client will be stored in a pen and paper folder with exception of the first name and number only, being put into a mobile phone when contact is needed. The shop is locked at all times when unoccupied by staff. CCTV is not in use in the shop at the time of writing but Is in operation by the open market. Photos of the pets may be taken for training and promotional purposes, if you wish for this to not happen please let us know and we will happily omit whilst still keeping your appointment.
Pet collection:
Only the person dropping off the pet will be allowed to collect them after the appointment, unless pre arranged at drop off with the name and phone number of the other person appointed.
Welfare
At this time we are unable to accept dogs with that fall subject to the terms of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 however we are looking to overcome this in the near future. we currently welcome and encourage ''XL bullys'' on our books.
If your pet has fleas/mites or parasites we are still happy to proceed but a further charge may be incurred.
The client booking the appointment is the legal owner and the pet's microchip is Registered under their current name and address. This will also apply to cats after the new law is passed.
Pet/House sitting

The security of the house will fall under our safety and insurance with the exception of acts of God, burglary by forced entry, or foundation/electrical issues.
If your pet has any undisclosed illnesses Twilight Layat' will not be held liable for treatment.
